The Rockpile is so centrally located that you can easily sample all the ski resorts in the area with no more than a 30 minute drive.

A few, like nearby SQUAW VALLEY, a World Class Ski Resort, have night skiing, too. Squaw also has snow tubing, & a great ice-skating rink at the top of the mountain.

NORTHSTAR, only 15 mins. away, boasts a new village with outstanding restaurants, ice skating, & much more. ALPINE MEADOWS is our personal favorite.

Even HEAVENLY VALLEY & KIRKWOOD, at the south end of the lake, are only 45-60 minutes away.
