A hideaway for the Locals, Buck's Beach is only three blocks, a short five minute walk, from the house. In high-water years, the beach may not be as large as shown in this photo.
Kids love playing in the shallow water and climbing on the huge boulders. |
People love swimming to the boulders, seen here in this photo, & then sitting on them to soak in the warmth eminating from the rocks & from the sun.
Views from here are amazing, & this beach is a favorite kyacking destination. |
